September 30th – Sonia Sung and Jessica Howie
After Sonia had to cancel teaching with me last month, I’m super delighted that we will have an opportunity to work together and offer a one-day workshop of Tantra and dance. Sonia will offer simple yet potent tantric exercises inviting us to connect to our innate sexual essence and help us to expand our capacity for feeling and sensation.  She will guide us towards a deeper knowing of what we actually need or want in the present moment and how we can stay true when expressing ourselves.

Sonia is a Tantra teacher who does not think of herself as a traditional teacher because they are so often put on pedestals—not seen as equal to their students & continuing to learn, grow and make mistakes themselves. Instead, her deepest desire is to offer you a safe container for you to find your own truth, wisdom and power, just as she has done through her commitment to make change on her own unexpected journey with Tantra.

October 29th – Kalindi Jordan and Jessica Howie
Take time to explore and deepen your sensual and sexual nature. Our sexual essence is energetic and magnetic it makes one feel attractive, healthy, radiant, sensual, and grounded. We are in a time where there is an abundance of embodied wisdom especially around sexual vitality. In this day exploration we are going to explore body focused ways to delve deep into being able to stay connected to your sexual fire, stay present with touch and to learn to receive.

When we learn to stay present and connected to our sexual energy and consciously embody it, then the world can become full of wonder, sensuality and sacredness. Effortlessly experiencing presence, connection and a quiet inner confidence.
There is no nudity in this workshop. This is a safe, relaxed space, where your real life questions about sexuality and intimacy are welcomed.

Kalindi Jordan is a sex and intimacy vitality coach working predominantly with women and couples. She has spent 27 years exploring her own and other people’s energy. Her profound understanding of the human energy system, psychology and sexual nature comes from her study and practice in Taoism, Tantra, Vedic mysticism, varieties of bodywork, yoni healing, breath work and being present with life as it unfolds. Kalindi is passionate about creating a sustainable and everyday accessible sexual experience that naturally leads us by the hand into wild ecstatic expression while making love!
Kalindi works with sexual healing and sexual expansion through 1-2-1 sessions, workshops, trainings and retreats.  www.kalindijordan.com

SEXUALITY
A RITUAL THEATRE INVESTIGATION
What is hidden by light

Exploring the electric shape shifting world of ritual theatre

About Live Wire:
Live Wire is a 'plug in' to creative action, an opportunity to reawakening and sharpen those places in ourselves that need realigning or perhaps rewiring back to what’s most original and true. In the laboratory we illuminate language, uncover gesture and free the mind through our theatrical investigation. We unlock the stories our bodies are longing to tell. We turn “suffering into art, our art into awareness.and our awareness into action.

Lorca Simons is dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative.

She followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed.  Lorca studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and became co-founder and co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world.

She is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator dedicated to exploring both the performing and visual arts awakening each individual’s unique creative potential through the vast landscape of the heart. She actively creates theatre internationally through a series of LIVE WIRE Ritual Theatre Labs.

“I believe in the healing power of theatre. I believe in a theatre of heart, one that feeds and fuels the soul. A theatre that brings change, mirroring landscapes lost or left behind, one that exposes life from the depths of its core. One that expands imagination through curiosity, breath, physical gesture and space. From this place of truth, ritual springs into authentic action and anything is possible.” -Lorca

I have been dancing 5 Rhythms for nearly 20 years and Jess's class in Oxford is my favourite out of the many classes that I have attended over the years. So good that I regularly travel from London to participate. Every 5 Rhythms teacher is different of course. I find that Jess has a unique sensitivity to the body's rhythms and how they correspond to music. In her classes she creates an intimate and safe space to allow dancers to explore themselves as deeply and sensitively as they dare to go. Dancing one of Jess's classes is an exquisite experience. I love Jessica's classes, feel held and encouraged to delve into the dance that my physical body wishes to express; also the way she takes us through body parts into the flowing rhythm of the dance, brilliant! Lizzie Austin, Homeopath

Jessica's groups are the highlight of my week. With her excellent facilitation skills I can move through all the week's issues in my own way and I step back into the world calmer, more resilient and hopeful.
Whatever you are dealing with in your everyday life Jessica creates a safe space. She facilitates unobtrusively with grace, warmth and honesty so you can experience transformation to a more peaceful and contented state.

Jessica’s movement classes are better than any drug prescription!  For me they are essential physical, mental, emotional and social maintenance. Her eclectic wide-ranging choice of music inspires me to move in all sorts of ways I might not usually, helping to make sense of and process whatever toxins, emotions, narratives might be storing up in my body.
Her unobtrusive facilitation, tangibly underpinned by years of experience, provides a safely held permissive space for anything that might emerge.  The class benefits from Jessica’s own continuing curiosity and learning about the human experience.  Amanda Maffett, Life Coach

"From the first time I stepped on a dance floor with Jess I was touched by her deep embodiment and grace. I have since been present at many of Jess's weekly classes, including the women's sessions and also been to weekend and day long workshops she has facilitated. Jess responds to the energetic field in her movement sessions with a wide range of music that seems to invite the body to move in new and essential ways. Her sensitive suggestions to slow movement down, or bring attention inwards to the breath and inner sensation or outwards to another human being just at the 'right' moment are deeply intuitive and have allowed me a sense of connection and safety in my body. Jess combines strength, vulnerability and openness in her offerings to the Oxford community and leads the way for many of us in inspiring love and collaboration. I look forward to dancing with Jess again soon". Sarah Jane Heath, Artist
